For every client that needs their garden totally planned and landscaped, there will be a dozen more clients with an existing garden just needing help and advice.

Having recently moved house, the owners of an unfamiliar garden may need their plants identifying, and seek advice as to which to prune, replace or leave well alone.

Relocating to the country from the city, new owners may be faced with a large and unruly garden for the first time and don’t know where to start.

You may have moved from another county where the soil and climate is different and would like advice on plants that will do well in your new garden.

Perhaps your garden is just plain awful, with heavy soil and deep shade where nothing will grow – yet!

If you have just bought a new house the garden may be nothing but poor turf and cheap concrete slabs laid on top of compacted clay – not a good start to happy gardening.

Have you recently become parents, or retired? Your garden may need updating to allow for new activities or reduced maintenance.
